Introduction to Cardiac MRI 2019

A two day course, specifically designed for all staff who perform cardiac MRI examinations or planning to do so.  It will provide the underpinning knowledge to help you carry out the practical imaging and build your confidence to produce high quality diagnostic examinations.

It is ideal for radiographers new to cardiac MRI and those who wish to understand more about cardiac anatomy, scanning tips, techniques and protocols

The course will be in held at Glenfield Hospital, Groby Road, Leicester LE3 9Q. 

Glenfield Hospital is about three miles north west of Leicester city centre. Please see link below for travel and parking.

Please bring change as there is a fee for parking - apprx £6.60 for up to 8 hours parking



Glenfield Hospital, the venue itself has accommodation for delegates and the cost of the room will be £27.00 per night with free parking at the residences.

Parking and Arrival Instructions

On arrival follow signs to the South Entrance Car Park.  This car park is closest to the Cardiovascular Research Centre, which you will see on the right hand side.  It is a large grey building with a very large red heart. 

Park and pay (£6.60/day see above) then go to Cardiovascular Research Centre and sign in at reception.
